Privacy Training is required for all Population Data staff. It is divided into two categories:

  • Privacy Orientation for new staff
  • Refresher course for staff, to be held every 6 months

Privacy Training 101 for PopData Staff

Privacy 101 is required for Population Data BC staff.

This course includes three lessons on the following topics:

  • Ten Privacy Principles
  • Privacy Legislation
  • Best Practices

The training is available only to registered PopData BC staff.

Privacy Training 201 for PopData Staff

Privacy 201 is a required course for PopData staff to complete on an annual basis.

The course includes two lessons on the following topics:

  • Best Practices
  • Advanced Threats and Breaches
